Congratulations to our 2008 Mighty Mite & Junior Midget teams for winning the 2008 NCSA Cheer Championship competition and to our Junior Pee Wee team for placing 3rd and our Midget team for placing 2nd. Great job girls.

Important Dates
The Sheldon Jr. Huskies 2008 Awards Ceremony
This will be held on Monday, December 1st from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at the Sheldon High School Performing Arts Center (PAC). All football player’s and cheerleader’s will attend the entire ceremony. Please contact your individual coach for your team’s dress code for the evening.
Husky Gear and End-of-Year DVD will be on sale at the Award’s Ceremony
The 2009 Sheldon Jr. Huskies All you can eat Crab & Tri-tip dinner is scheduled for the last Friday in March. Please contact a Board Member if you are interested in joining the crab feed committee. Committee Members are needed to assist with raffle and silent auction solicitations, decorations, set up and cleanup.
2009 Board Positions
As many of our children move on to High School our parents go with them. We need your help to fill open positions for next season. If you have time and talent to share and would like to join the SJH Board here are some of the positions available next season: President, Vice President, Fields & Facilities Manager, Treasurer, Secretary, Volunteer Coordinator, Fundraising Coordinator and Publicity Manager. Please contact a current Board Member if you would like to add your name to the list.
Football Equipment Return
Mandatory – All football equipment needs to be returned on Wednesday 11/26/2008 at the equipment conex between 6:00 and 8:00 PM. Equipment including the bags should be cleaned and washed before returning. All helmets and shoulder pads need to be sent out for re-conditioning and re-certification. It is mandatory that the equipment be returned or the football player risks the chance of not receiving their award at the awards ceremony on 12/1.
